Indian team is going to tour Zimbabwe for the first time in six years
The Indian cricket team will tour Zimbabwe next month for a three-match ODI series, which will be their first tour to that country in six years. Three ODIs will be in Harare on August 18, 20 and 22. KL Rahul can captain the team.
The series is part of the ICC Men’s World Cup Super League
The series is part of the ICC Men’s World Cup Super League. The thirteen-team competition is the main source of direct qualification for next year’s 50-over World Cup in India. Zimbabwe currently ranked 12th out of 13 teams.

The Indian team last toured Zimbabwe in 2016 when the team played three T20s and three ODIs under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Under the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan, India’s youth team will play three ODIs and three T20s in the West Indies from August 7. Before the series against India, Zimbabwe will play three T20Is against Bangladesh from July 30.
