Shafali Verma created history: The Indian women’s cricket team registered a thrilling 8-run win against Bangladesh in the 2nd T20 match on 11 July. This match was a low-scoring match. Where the Indian team decided to bat first after winning the toss. While batting first, the Indian team’s top order flopped.

4 wickets taken in the last over :-

The team scored 95 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. In response, the host Bangladesh team was reduced to 87 runs. The last over of the match was very exciting. For the Indian team, 19-year-old Shefali Verma took 4 wickets in the last over, conceding only one run. With this brilliant performance, Shefali created history in T20 cricket.

Shafali Verma became the first Indian bowler to do so :-

Actually, in the match, the Indian team had given a target of 96 runs to win the first batting Bangladesh (IND W vs BAN W). Shefali Verma scored 19 runs from the team’s bat, which was the highest for the team. In the last over of the match, Bangladesh was very close to victory, but Shefali Verma shattered Bangladesh’s hopes and won the last over. I took 3 wickets with 1 run out.

Shafali Verma created history in T20 cricket with this brilliant performance. She has become the first Indian bowler to take 3 or more wickets in the last over.

In this matter, the bowlers of the Indian men’s team have also lagged behind them. Mohammed Shami took 2 wickets in the last over against New Zealand in the year 2020.
