Batting first, after losing the toss in the second ODI, the Indian team made a mammoth score of 333 for 5 in the stipulated 50 overs, which is its second highest score in the history of ODI cricket. The England team could not even play the entire over in front of this big score and were bundled out for 245 runs in 44.2 overs.

For the hosts, Daniel Wyatt top-scored with 65 and Ellyse Kepsi and Amy Jones scored 39-39. Apart from Renuka’s four wickets for the Indian team, Deepti Sharma and D Hemlata got one success each.
Earlier, the Indian team made a mammoth score of 333 runs for 5 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur was instrumental in taking India to this score, who scored the fifth century of his career.
Harmanpreet Kaur completed her century in 100 balls with the help of 12 fours and a six. He played an unbeaten innings of 143 runs in the match. During this, Harmanpreet hit 18 fours and four sixes in 111 balls. Thanks to the captain’s explosive batting, India added 80 runs in the last five overs and scored 333 runs in 50 overs for the loss of five wickets. Pooja Vastrakar contributed 18(16) and Deepti Sharma contributed 15(09).
India did not have a good start when they were called to bat after losing the toss. Opener Shefali Verma (08) once again returned to the pavilion early. Smriti Mandhana continued her stellar form, scoring 40 off 51 balls and sharing a 54-run stand with Yastika Bhatia (26) for the second wicket.
After the dismissals of Smriti and Yastika, Harmanpreet Kaur took the lead. She shared a massive 113-run partnership with Harleen for the fourth wicket. Harleen scored his maiden ODI fifty, scoring 58 runs in 72 balls with five fours and two sixes.
After Harleen returned to the pavilion, Harmanpreet Kaur changed the pace of the innings and completed her fifth ODI century. Harmanpreet hit 18 fours and four sixes in his unbeaten knock of 143 off 111 balls. For England, Lauren Bell, Kate Cross, Freya Kemp, Charlotte Dean and Sophie Eccleston took one wicket each. Kemp (10 overs, 82 runs) and Bell (10 overs, 79 runs) proved costly for England.
