India announced a 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, with pacer Jasprit Bumrah making a comeback from injury.
The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma:-
After a poor performance in the Asia Cup 2022, the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team now has to prepare hard for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia from next month.

The Indian team has been announced today for this big tournament. It will be very interesting to see how the players perform in this 15-player team.
Advocated to include Umran in the Indian team:-
Meanwhile, former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh had advocated the inclusion of fast bowler Umran Malik in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. Malik was not part of the Indian squad for the Asia Cup.
22-year-old Umran Malik impressed everyone with his speed in IPL 2022 and took more than 15 wickets. He regularly bowls at a speed of 150 kmph.
It was only on this that he was included in the T20 team India. Malik played two matches against Ireland and one match against England, in which he took two wickets.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was missing:-
However, the team was missing all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who got injured during the Asia Cup.
