Indian Team: The Indian team will tour New Zealand immediately after the end of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia. The All India Senior Selection Committee has selected Hardik Pandya as the captain of the team for the T20 series against New Zealand.
The regular captains of the team Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested. At the same time, opener KL Rahul will also not be a part of this tour. Experienced wicket-keeper batsmen Dinesh Karthik and Ashwin, who played the role of finishers for India in the T20 World Cup, have not been included in the team.
BCCI announced the team on Monday :-
Announcing the team on Monday, the BCCI said that Shikhar Dhawan will captain the team in the ODI series to be held in this tour, while Rishabh Pant will be the vice-captain in both the series.
The Indian team will start the tour against New Zealand with the first T20 match on 18 November. The first match will be played in Wellington. Team India will play T20 matches on November 18, 20 and 22, followed by ODIs on November 25, 27 and 30.

Team India’s clash with Bangladesh after New Zealand :-
After finishing the tour of New Zealand, the Indian team will take on Bangladesh. The series will see the return of regular captains Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Lokesh Rahul will not travel to New Zealand starting November 18, but will travel to Bangladesh as vice-captain with the Rohit Sharma-led side in December.
The good news for the team is that star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja can seen playing in the series against Bangladesh. He will soon undergo a fitness test at the NCA.
