Indian women cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy announced the engagement of Karnataka batsman Arjun Hoysala on social media. The couple revealed that they are going to get married through an Instagram post.
Krishnamurthy has played a total of 48 ODIs and 76 T20Is for the Women in Blue during her international career.

Who is Arjun Hoysala?
Arjun Hoysala is a first-class cricketer from Karnataka who made his first-class debut in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy on 7 December 2016. He is currently 32 years old. He also played for Belagavi Panthers in the Karnataka Premier League.
Who is Veda Krishnamurti?
Veda Krishnamurthy has been a part of the Indian women’s cricket team since 2011 when she made her debut against England at the age of 18. After scoring 51 runs on her debut, Veda Krishnamurthy proved her cricketing excellence and continued to play for India.
Over the years, he developed himself into an all-rounder, contributing with both bat and ball. Apart from this, Veda is also known as one of the best fielders on the Indian team.

Veda Krishnamurthy played her last international match on 8 March 2020, which remains a historic match in the context of women’s cricket across the world, i.e. the final of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 between India and Australia in front of a stadium filled with 86,174 fans.
However, Veda has not featured in an international game for Team India since the Women’s T20 World Cup final against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on March 8, 2020. He last played an ODI for India against England in Nagpur in 2018.

Krishnamurthy has also played in the Women’s Big Bash League (BBL) for the Hobart Hurricanes in 2017 and 2018. Recently, he was seen in the television studio as a specialist for the 2022 Commonwealth Games (CWG) in Birmingham.
Talking about Hoysalas, he made 1 appearance for the Karnataka Ranji Trophy team which went back in 2016 when he facing Maharashtra at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
