Indian women’s team upcoming series: Amol Muzumdar, appointed as the head coach of the Indian team on Wednesday (October 25), is set to undertake his first international assignment in his hometown. In fact, his first-five engagements, including two Tests, will be against England and Australia.

Indian women’s team is scheduled to participate 11 Int. matches :-

The Indian women’s team is scheduled to participate in a total of 11 international matches, which includes two Test matches, over the next couple of months. All these matches will be hosted in Mumbai, with Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadiums serving as the venues.

According to Cricbuzz, England and Australian women’s teams will tour India consecutively, engaging in four and seven matches, respectively, and both series will be of multi-format nature.

Matches will span over a period of about two months :-

England’s women’s team will play three T20Is, followed by a Test, while the Australian women’s team will participate in a Test, three ODIs, and three T20Is in that order.

These matches will span over a period of about two months, commencing in the last week of November and concluding in the second week of January. Prior to these international matches, an ‘A’ series between India A and England A women’s teams will take place, also in Mumbai.

These are the tentative dates :-

According to tentative dates, the three T20Is against England will be held on December 6, 9, and 10 at the DY Patil Stadium, followed by a Test from December 17 to 22 at the Wankhede Stadium.

The Australia team will be in Mumbai for a month in mid-December, commencing their campaign with a Test match from December 21. Following the Test, three ODIs are scheduled for December 28, 30, and January 2; with the T20Is set for January 5, 7, and 9. All Australia games will be played at the Wankhede.
