Auckland, Feb 4 (PTI) The Indian women’s cricket team’s ODI series against New Zealand. Will now begin a day later on February 12 as the host board has changed the schedule to give both the teams more time between matches.
The Indian team was to play five ODIs and one T20 match against New Zealand at three venues from February 9. But New Zealand Cricket decided to move all the matches to Queenstown so that there would be less travel amid the Corona epidemic.

Along with this, the schedule has been changed to give more time between matches to both the teams.

New Zealand Cricket said, “The schedule of matches between the Indian women’s team. And the New Zealand women’s team has been changed. The first KFC T20 match will be held at the same time. But there is a change in the schedule of the five-match ODI series.

The one-day match in this series. Which is considered important for the preparation of the World Cup to be held in March-April, will be played on February 9 only.
The ODI series will now take place from February 12. The second ODI will be played on February 14, the third on February 18. The last two ODIs will be held on February 22 and 24.
