Indra Nooyi rejects Manu Sahni’s appeal to ICC board

A board meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) rejected the appeal against Manu Sahni’s dismissal. In a high-level meeting last fortnight, the board. After deliberating several points for more than two hours before taking a decision against the appeal of the former chief executive officer (CEO). The ICC accepted the services on 8 July approved.

The ICC had called an emergency meeting of the board to take a decision on the suspended chief executive officer. Sawhney had accused the world body of taking unilateral, non-transparent and unfair decisions.

Earlier, Sahni was sent on leave in March this year following a review conducted by PricewaterhouseCooper Pvt Ltd, which alleged misconduct.

Sahni’s appeal against the guilty verdict:

Sahni was given the option of appeal against the ‘guilty decision’ under Article 7 of the ICC Disciplinary Policy Section 17.4 of his employment contract. About which everyone believed that there was a heated argument while Sahni was present.

Suspension on March 9 on four charges:

Internationally acclaimed accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers should have taken over the operations. An independent culture assessment at the ICC. After which Sahni had four charges on March 9.

Allegations of intimidation against him. And displays of physical aggression against staff, affecting the physical and mental well-being of ICC staff. And he did not report to the board before implementing various decisions.
