IOC Session 2023 In India: The International Olympic Committee on Saturday entrusted India with the right to host the IOC session in Mumbai next year.

India’s Representative Nita Ambani:-

India’s representative on the committee, Nita Ambani, gave it the contract, a significant step for the country’s Olympic ambitions. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Jasprit Bumrah, etc. have congratulated and tweeted.

IOC Session 2023 In India: India will host the convention for the first time since 1983. The convention will be held at the new and modern Jio World Convention Centre.

The Voting Representatives:-

India got a historic 99 percent vote in favor of its bid from the delegates participating in the voting during this process. During the session held in Beijing, 75 members approved India’s claim.

IOC Session 2023 In India: The IOC convention is an annual meeting of the members of the IOC, consisting of 101 voting members and 45 honorary members.

Important activities of the global Olympic campaign are discussed and decided during the convention. Including the amendment or adoption of the Olympic Charter, the election of IOC members, and office-bearers. And the election of the host city of the Olympics (Mumbai).

The First Lady Nita Ambani said:-

Nita Ambani, the first woman to be elected as an IOC member from India. Said, “The Olympic campaign is back in India after 40 years of waiting. I am truly grateful to the International Olympic Committee for handing over to India the honor of hosting the IOC session in Mumbai in 2023.”

Besides Neeta, the Indian delegation included Indian Olympic Association President Narinder Batra, Sports Minister Anurag Thakur. And India’s first individual Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra.
