IPL 2021 is going to start on 19th September. All the teams are busy preparing for the second phase and the players are sweating hard on the practice. While the top teams are trying to make it to the playoffs, the teams running from the bottom of the points table will have an eye to reach the playoffs first. Meanwhile, while the players’ practice is going on in full swing, Kolkata Knight Riders opener Shubman Gill has come in excellent form.

Great comeback-

Kolkata Knight Riders opener Shubman Gill was battling an injury for some time. Gill, who was injured on the England tour, could not play a single match of the Test series, but now he is fully fit. Not only this, this young player has made a great comeback. In the last half of this season, Gill’s bat was calm and he could not do anything amazing. In such a situation, after coming back to his form, Shubman has a great chance to prove himself.

Made A Half-Century-

Kolkata Knight Riders played an intrasquad match at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. This match was played between Nitish Rana and Ben Cutting’s XI. In this match, Gill batted brilliantly and made a half-century in the rest of the teams. Although Shubman missed out on scoring a century, his innings were brilliant.

Eoin Morgan’s team Kolkata Knight Riders won only two matches out of 7 in the first leg of the IPL, leaving KKR at number seven on the points table.
