IPL 2022: Ahmedabad team’s troubles Increased, Confusion Over Participating in IPL

The BCCI has not yet handed over the papers to the Ahmedabad team. Due to which the confusion remains on his participation in IPL 2022. The Ahmedabad team was bought by CVC Sports for Rs 5625 crore.

The problems of the Ahmedabad team, which is going to be included in the Indian Premier League for the first time, are increasing continuously. Where all the participating teams in IPL are planning to form a new team by retaining their players before the mega auction.

But its existence is under threat. Although eight teams used to play in IPL till now, but now with the arrival of teams from Lucknow and Ahmedabad, their number has increased to 10.

BCCI has not Given the Paper, the Confusion on Participating in IPL 2022 Continues

The Ahmedabad team joining the IPL bought by a company named CVC Capitals. For Rs 5625 crore. But according to media reports, BCCI has not yet given the tender papers to CVC Capitals. Overall, the Ahmedabad franchise company has not yet been formed on paper.

It said in some media reports. That the money of CVC Capitals invested in a company where betting takes place. This is the reason why BCCI has not yet released the official statement for Ahmedabad.

BCCI Sent the Matter to the Solicitor General

According to media reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has referred the CVC Sports matter to the Solicitor General of India, Tushar Mehta, who represents the Board in matters related to the Government of India. At the same time, the American firm is trying to convince the BCCI that their investment in the UK betting firm is not illegal.

It is Mandatory to Give Written list of Players of IPL by 30th November

It is mandatory for the eight IPL franchises to submit the list of retained players to the BCCI on November 30 (Tuesday). In such a situation, most of the franchises are focusing on retaining the players. At the same time, the teams of Ahmedabad and Lucknow will submit the list of their retained players to the BCCI between December 1 and 25. Both these teams will be able to retain 3-3 players.
