New Delhi, Pretr. IPL 2022: Batsman Lalit Yadav, who played a key role in Delhi Capitals’ four-wicket win against Mumbai Indians in the IPL match, credited teammate Axar Patel and captain Rishabh Pant for his good performance.

Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel put on a 75-run partnership in five overs to take Delhi to the target in a match played in Mumbai on Sunday while their team was struggling at 104 for six. Lalit scored an unbeaten 48 off 38 balls while Axar scored an unbeaten 38 off 17 balls. Both of them defeated the Mumbai team while batting brilliantly at the last moment.

Rishabh Pant also advised his batsmen to focus only on their game

Lalit Yadav said that when there is Axar Patel at the other end of the crease, I feel very comfortable. He knows my game and also knows how to perform at my best. We both had decided to save wickets. We knew that if we keep playing, we will definitely win the match before the last over. In the middle of the game, Rishabh Pant also advised his batsmen to focus only on their game.
