IPL 2022: Lucknow Supergiants got a setback, fast bowler Mark Wood out of IPL

New Delhi, Online Desk. There only a few days left for the start of the Indian Premier League 2022. Earlier, the team of Lucknow, playing IPL for the first time, has suffered a setback. In fact, England fast bowler Mark Wood ruled out of the IPL due to a right elbow injury. He bought by the team of Lucknow in the mega auction at a great price of 7.50 crores.

Currently England team is playing test match with West Indies. He suffered an injury on the third day of the first Test against West Indies due to which he was able to bowl only 5 overs in the first innings. In the second innings, he did not even enter the field. Since then it being speculated that the injury was more serious. Now scans have confirmed that he has a problem with his elbow and will return to England next week.

The England Cricket Board has confirmed the news that they ruled out of the third Test against West Indies and the upcoming IPL. For the time, he advised to stay away from cricket till further notice. His injury monitored by a team of experts.

Mark Wood is the second bowler to be dropped from the England side
