Mumbai Indians splashes INR 8 crore for unavailable Jofra Archer

Jofra Archer was another name, who bagged a massive amount from MI. It must be noted that Archer won’t be playing this season due to fitness issues and will only be available from the next season onwards.

• Jofra Archer is not expected to compete in this season’s competition due to injury. While they do have replacement fast bowling options such as Daniel Sams and Riley Meredith, Tymal Mills, Basil Thampi & Jaydev Unadkat they do have lack of experience in the IPL.

• MI likely to miss the services of Suryakumar Yadav in their opener against Delhi Capitals. Suryakumar, who had picked up a thumb injury during the series against West Indies, has not been released by the NCA and without their clearance – he would not be able to participate in IPL.

• Dewald Brevis His 506 runs in six innings have primed him for graduating to the senior South Africa team and therefore, IPL franchises had their eyes set on him keeping future in mind
