IPL 2022 Orange Cap: Jos Buttler of Rajasthan captured Orange Cap, CSK’s batsmen at number two and third

New Delhi, Online Desk. The 15th season of the Indian Premier League has started. All teams have played 4 or more matches. With this, the battle of runs has started between the batsmen. Many veterans are involved in the race for the Orange Cap. Rajasthan Jos Butler’s bat is making a ruckus, while Shubman Gill is also second to none. The team is yearning for victory but runs are being scored continuously with the bat of Mumbai’s Ishan Kishan. At present, Rajasthan’s Jos Buttler is in the case of scoring the most runs. His unbeaten knock of 70 runs against Bangalore has taken his run figure above 200. After 4 matches, he has 218 runs in his account.

After playing a blistering innings in the same match, two Chennai batsmen have made a tremendous leap. Thanks to the innings played against RCB, Shivam Dubey is second and Robin Uthappa is at number three. Dubey has 207 runs in 5 matches while Uthappa has 194 runs in the same number of matches. Dubey scored 95 and Uthappa scored 88 against RCB. After this innings, Lucknow opener Quinton de Kock has slipped to number four. He has scored 188 runs in 5 matches. New team Gujarat batsman Shubman Gill has slipped to number 5. The number of runs scored in 4 matches has gone up to 187, thanks to his powerful innings of 96 against Punjab.

Rajasthan finisher Shimron Hetmyer has made it to number 7

Mumbai batsman Ishan Kishan is at number six in this list. He scored 26 runs in the match against Bangalore. After this innings, his account has got 175 runs in 4 matches. Rajasthan’s finisher Shimron Hetmyer has placed at number 7. He has scored 168 runs in 4 matches. Punjab batsman Livingston is at number 8. He has 162 runs in 4 matches.

Delhi opener Prithvi Shaw has made it to number 9 with back to back half-centuries. He has 160 runs in 4 matches. In the last place is Deepak Hooda of Lucknow’s middle order who is consistently performing well for the team. He has 155 runs in 5 matches in his account.

At present, except for Deepak Hooda and Shivam Dubey, most of the openers are dominating this list. Hopefully this list will change as the IPL progresses.
