Now, young cricketer, Rajvardhan Hangargekar is also eager to do something similar. In the mega auction for the 15th season of IPL, MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings has roped in Rajvardhan, the player of the Under-19 World Cup-winning team, with the team for Rs 1.5 crore.

Today when Hungergekar is associated with this team, his father is not alive to see this day. Rajvardhan’s father passed away in 2020 due to Corona. CSK was his father’s favorite team and team captain Dhoni is his favorite cricketer.
A few months later, Rajvardhan’s body will have a CSK jersey. During the IPL Mega Auction, there was a competition between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings to rope in Hungergekar.

The 19-year-old called the moment the happiest moment of his life. He said that I have always been a fan of Dhoni.
My father always wanted to see me play for the Chennai team. It is a matter of great pleasure for me and my family to be selected for CSK.
Hungergekar was instrumental in making the Indian team victorious in the recently concluded Under-19 World Cup in West Indies with his ball and on several occasions with the bat.
