New Delhi, Online Desk. In the Eliminator match of IPL 2022, RCB took one step further towards the final by defeating Lucknow Super Giants. RCB’s victory was largely contributed by the brilliant batting of team’s batsman Rajat Patidar and the superb bowling of Jos Hazlewood and Harshal Patel. While Rajat played an unbeaten 112, Harshal Patel took one wicket for 25 runs in 4 overs, while Hazlewood took three wickets. Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag spoke at length about Harshal Patel’s impressive performance in the Eliminator and said that the bowler deserves to be in the Rs 14-15 crore bracket in IPL.

Sehwag says Rahul Teotia does justice to his Rs 10 crore tag

Sehwag said that we always talk about how Rahul Tewatia does justice to his Rs 10 crore tag as he won matches for his team Gujarat Titans. Harshal’s price tag is still quite low, the way he has bowled for Bangalore. He has saved matches for the team, so I think Rs 10.75 for him is also worth less and he should be in the Rs 14-15 crore range.

RCB play Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 on May 27 in Ahmedabad

Sehwag further said that he is bowling in the slog overs, he is getting wickets and he is saving the match. At times, he sets the tone of the game when he bowls the opening over, concedes fewer runs and takes wickets. So, I think he also deserves to be in this category. Now, he has qualified for Qualifier 2, and maybe RCB can give him a bonus. Let us tell you that now RCB has to play Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 on 27 May in Ahmedabad. The team that will be the winner in this match will take on the field against Gujarat in the final match of this season on 29th May.
