Dhoni- Definitely see me in yellow
Gavaskar told host broadcaster Star Sports after the CSK-GT game, “I think he (Dhoni) said that you will definitely see me in yellow. Whether it is the player’s uniform or any other yellow, it remains to be seen. I am sure he will be around as a mentor. Had he not been keen to continue, he would not have taken back the captaincy.”
MS Dhoni stepped down as captain of the all-format
MS Dhoni stepped down as captain of the all-format India in 2017 and continues to be Chennai’s backbone as a leader. But he is yet to reveal his future plans with the team. His availability for the next season is currently a hot topic of debate.
You learn more from failures
He continued, “Sometimes you learn more from failures than from success. yes maybe at that time with two more matches before Jadeja‘s unfortunate injury. Dhoni would have given Jadeja a few matches to get that kind of experience. I believe he will definitely come back in yellow. There is no question about it.”
