Prithvi Shaw, who played for Delhi Capitals this season, not given a chance in the playing-11 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. It is obvious that this decision has been taken only because of his poor performance. In such a situation, the thing to be seen will be whether he will be dropped only for 1-2 matches or he will be sitting on the bench for a long time. He has scored only 47 runs in 6 matches played this season at a very poor average of 7.83.

Team India is Also Not Getting Chance

Prithvi Shaw played the last ODI and only T20 match for Team India in 2021, while he played the last Test match against Australia in 2020. However, Shaw has not played many matches for Team India. Shaw has scored 339 runs in 5 Tests, including 1 century and 2 half-centuries, while he has 189 runs in 6 ODIs. Shaw also failed to open his account in the only T20 match played.

Flop Show Continues in IPL

Shaw has not batted in any of the six matches of Delhi Capitals so far. Shaw scored 12 runs against Lucknow Super Giants, while in the second match he returned to the pavilion after scoring 7 runs against Gujarat Titans. Not only this, he also failed to open the account in the third match played against Rajasthan Royals and he could only score 15 runs in the match against Mumbai. Against RCB once again got out without opening an account. Scored only 13 runs against KKR as well.
