Game Paused

During this match played at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium, the decision given by on-field umpire Akshay Totre, J Madangopal and TV umpire Yashwant Barde regarding no ball got into controversies. After this, due to the bad behavior of the spectators, the game had to be stopped for some time. The incident happened in the 19th over of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s innings, when pacer Avesh Khan bowled Abdul Samad like a beamer and umpire Akshar called it a no-ball. In TV replays and ‘ball tracker’, the ball was seen coming out of the top of the wicket with the batsman’s waist. After this, Lucknow Supergiants head coach Andy Flower and mentor Gautam Gambhir got up from the dug-out along with other team members and came near the boundary line.
