IPL 2023: Arjun Tendulkar’s Tremendous Thrashing Against Punjab Kings

IPL 2023 had a double header today and the second match of the day is being played between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings (MI vs PBKS) at the Wankhede Stadium. In this match, Mumbai invited Punjab to bat first but the opposition batsmen got to see a strong performance and they made a big score of 214/8 in 20 overs. The bowling of Mumbai Indians was good in the initial overs but in the last six overs the bowlers of the team bowled very badly and gave away 109 runs in the last six overs. During this, Arjun Tendulkar, the hero of the previous match, was badly beaten and spent 31 runs in the 16th over of the innings. The over also became the joint costliest over of IPL 2023.

Arjun Tendulkar was a success in his three overs, conceding a total of 48 runs. Other bowlers were also expensive. Jofra Archer gave 42 runs. Jason Behrendorff and Cameron Green also spent 41-41 runs. In this way, Mumbai’s bowling did not live up to the expectations and was trolled by the fans on Twitter.

Mumbai Indians’ best bowler Chawla had one over left. All the fast bowlers of Mumbai Indians gave runs and both the spinners had one over left.

So many people are giving pride for Arjun Tendulkar but he is not fit to play international game.

Rohit could have done better by giving Green the 16th over and Arjun the 18th. Arjun bowling to a left handed batsman is not ideal.
