Due to the injury of KKR team captain Shreyas Iyer, it has been learned that he may miss the first half of the tournament. Please tell that Shreyas was injured during the Border-Gavaskar Test series. He suffered a back injury due to which he could not come out to bat in last Test as well.

Shreyas Iyer may be out of IPL 2023 :-

A recent report has come out about Shreyas Iyer’s fitness. In that it has been learned that Iyer has developed pain in his lower back and it may take 3-4 months for his condition to recover. In such a situation, it is difficult for this middle-order batsman to play in the 16th season of IPL.

Rohit Sharma gave this statement on the fitness of Shreyas Iyer :-

After the draw of the last Test match played in Ahmedabad, when captain Rohit was questioned about Iyer’s fitness, he said that Shreyas Iyer is not looking good right now due to the recovery of lower back pain. They said,

“What happened to him is unfortunate. He had to wait through the day to bat and then when the day’s play was over, his back problem flared up again. He was sent to the hospital for a scan. I do not know exact report of the scan, but it seems that he is not in a good condition. That’s why he’s not here.”
