Liam Livingstone scored 94 runs in 48 balls, which included five fours and 9 sixes. It rained sixes from Livingstone’s bat and with this he has equaled the record of former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.

Liam Livingstone is joint second in terms of hitting most sixes in a match against Delhi Capitals in IPL. Chris Gayle holds the record for hitting the most sixes in an IPL match against Delhi Capitals. In 2012, Gayle hit 13 sixes against Delhi. 2014, Yuvraj Singh hit 9 sixes against Delhi. In 2022, Jos Buttler also scored 9 sixes against Delhi.

Punjab got Defeated

Liam Livingstone also hit 9 sixes against Delhi and equaled Yuvraj Singh’s record. Livingstone’s innings, however, could not win the Punjab Kings and their hopes of reaching the playoffs have waned. In the match played at the HPCA Stadium, Delhi Capitals batting first scored 213 runs losing 2 wickets in 20 overs. In response, Punjab Kings team could score 198 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs and lost by 15 runs.
