In the 41st match of IPL 2023 being played in Chennai, Chennai Super Kings (CSK vs PBKS) managed to score big against Punjab Kings and the team scored 200/4 in 20 overs. Devon Conway played a tremendous half-century and remained unbeaten till the end. Rituraj Gaikwad and Shivam Dubey also had useful contributions. In the end, MS Dhoni ended the innings by hitting two sixes.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Chennai Super Kings got off to a good start. The pair of Rituraj Gaikwad and Devon Conway scored 57 runs in the powerplay itself. The pair added 86 runs for the first wicket and Gaikwad became the victim of Sikandar Raza after scoring 37 runs in 31 balls. Meanwhile, Conway completed his half-century. Shivam Dubey, who came up in batting, played an inning of 28 runs in 17 balls with the help of one four and two sixes. Moeen Ali was stumped on a personal score of 10 in an attempt to score quick runs.

Ravindra Jadeja was also caught out on the first ball of the last over in an attempt to play a big shot. 12 runs came from his bat. Conway could not complete his century and returned unbeaten after scoring 92 runs in 52 balls. His innings included 16 fours and a six. MS Dhoni also scored an unbeaten 13 runs in 4 balls and during this time the team’s score reached 200 by hitting sixes in the last two balls of the innings. Four bowlers took one wicket each for Punjab Kings.
