IPL 2024 auction: ‘Mitchell Starc’ returns, bidding will be done on 333 players

IPL 2024, Mitchell Starc returns: The Indian Premier League (IPL) has announced its final list for the upcoming auction pool. According to the roster shared by IPL, 333 players will be up for bid in the IPL 2024 auction, out of which 214 are Indian and 119 are foreign players. The IPL 2024 auction will take place on December 19 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

Rs 2 crore highest reserve price for IPL 2024 mini-auction :-

Also, among these 333 players, there are 116 capped players, 215 uncapped players and 2 players from associate countries. There are a maximum of 77 slots and 30 places available for foreign players in the IPL 2024 auction.

For the upcoming mini-auction of the cash-rich league, Rs 2 crore is the highest reserve price for 23 players. There are 13 players in the list with a base price of Rs 1.5 crore.

Travis Head will be included in the first set of auctions :-

Australia’s World Cup 2023 hero Travis Head will be included in the first set of auctions. In the second set, New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra, Australia’s captain Cummins, South African cricketer Gerald Coetzee and India’s Shardul Thakur have been kept.

Mitchell Starc returns to IPL :-

Veteran Australian fast bowler Starc is listed in the fourth set for the IPL 2024 auction. Yes, 2023 World Cup winner Mitchell Starc is set for a blockbuster comeback in the cash-rich league.

Also, it is believed that there is every possibility of a fierce battle between the 10 teams in the IPL 2024 auction for Starc. Starc last played in the IPL in 2015 for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
