IPL 2024, CSK vs RCB: Indian cricket team’s run machine Virat Kohli has reached Bengaluru before the start of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League and RCB’s Unbox event. Virat Kohli will be seen playing top-level cricket for the first time since January this year when RCB plays against CSK in its first match of IPL 2024 on March 22.

Withdrew his name from the five-match Test series against England :-

Let us tell you that Virat Kohli had missed India’s five-match Test series against England, after which it was revealed that his wife Anushka Sharma has given birth to their second child. Anushka has given birth to a son as her second child, whom both of them have named Akay.

Virat Kohli reached Chinnaswamy for training session :-

After reaching Bengaluru, Kohli was seen joining captain Faf du Plessis and the rest of the RCB squad at the Chinnaswamy Stadium for a training session on Monday, March 18. In videos posted by fans on social media, Kohli is also seen practicing catching and playing football. He has also been seen in the video talking to Du Plessis on several occasions.

Let us tell you that this season’s IPL matches are very important for all the players because right after IPL 2024, T20 World Cup is also very close. In such a situation, the eyes of the Indian selectors will be on Kohli and all the other players. There are also rumors on social media that the selectors are considering dropping Kohli from the team for the tournament.

Only 2 T20I matches played since T20 World Cup 2022 :-

Let us also tell you that Kohli did not play T20I matches for India in the entire 2023. He played his first international match in this format after the T20 World Cup in 2022 against Afghanistan on January 14 this year. Kohli could not do anything special in these two matches. In the first match, Kohli scored 29 runs in 16 balls and in the second match, he was out on a golden duck.
