IPL 2024: Punjab Kings may release Sam Curran. Curran is the most expensive player in IPL history, who was bought for Rs 18.5 crore, but his performance was not anything special. The player auction for IPL 2024 will take place in Dubai on December 19.

However, Brook could not make an impact and scored a total of 190 runs in 11 IPL matches this year at a strike rate of 140, which included a century. The last few seasons have not been good for Sunrisers Hyderabad and they are not even able to make it to the knockout race.

Sunrisers Hyderabad wants to save money :-
This year, Sunrisers had won only four out of 14 group matches. According to the report, releasing Brook will increase Sunrisers’ budget in view of the auction and they will be able to include some talented players in the team.
