Suryakumar Yadav, fitness update: India’s star T20I batsman Suryakumar Yadav is working hard to make a comeback. Suryakumar suffered an ankle injury during the South Africa tour in December 2023. He underwent sports hernia surgery in January, which was performed in Germany. This was his second surgery after an ankle injury. Surya gave his fitness update through a video on social media on Monday (February 26), which fans are thrilled to see.

The 30-year-old cricketer wrote in the caption of the video on Instagram, “Recovery process on point.” It can be seen in the video that Surya faced a lot of difficulty in walking after the surgery. However, he did not lose courage. He can be seen running and undergoing vigorous training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

Suryakumar is sweating profusely so that he can be completely fit before IPL 2024. But nothing has been said officially regarding his return. The 17th season of IPL will start from March 22.
