IPL auction 2022: Dinesh Karthik whereabouts changed, Nicholas Pooran sold for 10.75 crores

New Delhi, Online Desk. IPL mega auction 2022: Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik was a part of KKR before this season, but now his whereabouts have changed. In this season’s mega auction, he has been bought by RCB for 5.50 crores. Dinesh Karthik’s base price was Rs 2 crore. On the other hand, West Indies wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran got a good price and was made a part of his team by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 10.75 crore.

Dinesh Karthik is one of the experienced wicketkeepers of IPL and he has scored 4046 runs in 213 matches with 19 half-centuries in this league so far, while his best score is 97 not out. He has taken 123 catches behind the wicket and has stumped 32 players. Apart from this, wicketkeeper-batsman like Wriddhiman Saha, Sam Billings were not bought by any team. In the first round and they remained unsold. Talking about other wicketkeepers, Ishan Kishan sold the most expensive one. And was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 15.25 crore.
