In the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023), some players must have seen amazing catches. Some of these catches have been included in the list of best catches of all time. Over the years in the IPL, some players have pulled off astonishing fielding catches. This thrilled and surprised the audience.
IPL: AB De Villiers in 2018 :-
Who can forget the former South African legend AB de Villiers hitting the mid-wicket boundary line to dismiss Alex Hales of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2018. He surprised everyone by catching a flying six ball with one hand. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli was stunned to see this catch.
IPL: Chris Lynn in 2014 :-
Chris Lynn’s name comes in second place in the list of amazing catches. The Australian player took the best catch at the boundary rope in IPL 2014. Lynn was caught in the air while playing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He was standing very close to the boundary rope, leaping in the air, controlling himself and taking a brilliant catch.

Kieron Pollard in 2014 :-
Former Mumbai Indians (MI) charismatic all-rounder Kieron Pollard an extremely fit fielder. In 2014, while playing against Rajasthan Royals (RR), Pollard took a brilliant catch at long on. He tried to take the catch with one hand. Off-balance, Pollard tossed the ball in the air and caught the catch with a one-handed drive coming out of the boundary. It was one of the best IPL catches ever.
Suresh Raina in 2016 :-
One of the best fielders in Indian cricket, Suresh Raina took a breath-taking catch at slip in IPL 2016. Raina leapt in the air to take a right-handed catch to dismiss KKR’s Suryakumar Yadav. Gujarat Lions captain Raina jumped in the air in the slip and took a very difficult catch of Suryakumar Yadav off Dwayne Smith.
Evin Lewis in 2022 :-
Playing for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Evin Lewis took a brilliant hand catch to dismiss the dangerous looking Rinku Singh. This catch also received the award for the best catch of the IPL 2022 season.
