The IPL 2022 Mega Auction:-

The team he played for in the last few seasons. The mega auction of IPL 2022 began in Bengaluru on Saturday.

Kolkata opened the bid for Cummins before the new franchise, Gujarat Titans swooped in. The price kept rising as both the franchises were eager to have the Australian bowler in their ranks.

Pat Worth Over INR 7 Crore:-

As the price went up to Rs 5.75 crore, Gujarat conceded defeat but another new franchise, Lucknow Super Giants, gave it up. They started bidding and the price of Pat went up to over INR 7 Crore.

Eventually Lucknow also once again left Pat Cummins leaving Kolkata. The Australian Test captain thanked the franchise for reintroducing him in a video posted by KKR.

Besides Cummins, KKR also spent a whopping amount of Rs 12.25 crore for Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer. He will also be expected to lead the team.
