IPL Title Sponsorship: BCCI announced on January 20 that Tata Group has acquired the title sponsorship of the Indian Premier League (IPL) till 2028 for Rs 2500 crore. This is the highest sponsorship amount ever in the history of the league.
IPL Title Sponsorship: BCCI said in a statement :-
The BCCI on January 20 awarded the title sponsorship rights of the Indian Premier League to Tata Group for a period of five years. BCCI said in a statement, “The Indian conglomerate with diverse verticals has renewed its association with BCCI at a record-breaking value of Rs 2500 crore.
The Tata Group previously held the title sponsorship rights for the IPL in 2022 and 2023 and is also the title sponsor of the Women’s Premier League.

IPL President Arun Singh Dhumal said :-
BCCI Treasurer and IPL Chairman Arun Singh Dhumal said that the record breaking Rs 2500 crore shows the importance of IPL in the world of sports.
He said, “This unprecedented amount not only sets a new benchmark in the history of the league, but also confirms the IPL’s status as a major sporting event with global impact.”
