Craig Young joins Ireland Men’s T20I squad: Paceman Craig Young has been declared fit to join up with Ireland Men’s T20I squad in Bangladesh.

Craig Young made his international debut in 2013 :-

Young, 32, made his international debut in 2013 and has played 103 times for Ireland. He has 151 wickets at an average of 25.77.

Part of the Ireland Men’s T20 World Cup squad in 2022, he was forced to withdraw before the start of the tournament and has been back home recovering and rehabilitating since.

Mark Rausa, Head of Medical Services for Cricket Ireland, said :-

“Craig has joined the T20I squad in Bangladesh after a long lay-off period due to longstanding groin and pelvic issue. He has spent the past 6-8 weeks returning to bowling and completing his rehab after a period of enforced rest, as directed by the medical team and specialists.”

• 27 March: Bangladesh Men v Ireland Men – 1st T20I (ZACS, Chattogram; start 2pm local time) (9am Irish time)
• 29 March: Bangladesh Men v Ireland Men – 2nd T20I (ZACS, Chattogram; start 2pm local time) (9am Irish time)
• 31 March: Bangladesh Men v Ireland Men – 3rd T20I (ZACS, Chattogram; start 2pm local time) (9am Irish time)
