New Zealand cricket team performed brilliantly in the second T20 of the T20 series against Ireland, winning by 88 runs. For the Kiwis, all-rounder Michael Bracewell took a brilliant hat-trick while Dane Cleaver scored a half-century. New Zealand have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series against hosts Ireland.

Batting first, New Zealand scored 179 for four and then bowled out Ireland for 91 in 13.5 overs to register their fifth successive win over the hosts. New Zealand beat Ireland by 31 runs in the first T20I on Monday after winning the series 3-0 in one-day internationals in Malahide. New Zealand will now have a chance to clean sweep the three-match T20I series on Friday.

Dane Cleaver hit five fours and four sixes in his 55-ball knock. Apart from him, Finn Allen contributed 35 runs in 20 balls. Bracewell later ended Ireland’s innings with three wickets in successive deliveries for five off just five balls. Ish Sodhi took 3 for 21 and Jacob Tuffy took 2 for 20. Mark Eder scored 27 runs for Ireland.
