Oman created history: The bugle of the ICC Cricket ODI World Cup has sounded. Currently World Cup qualifier matches are being played, whose fourth match was played between Oman vs Ireland on 19th June. In this match, Oman defeated Ireland by 5 wickets and created history.

Oman did its biggest run chase :-

Oman chased their biggest run in ODI cricket history for the first time. In this match, Oman chased down 282 against Ireland to win the match.

Ireland vs Oman: Ireland’s innings :-

Actually, Oman won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Ireland scored 281 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the first innings. George Dockrell scored the most runs for the team from Ireland. He played a stormy inning of 91 not out facing 89 balls.

Apart from George, Harry Tector played a half-century innings of 52 runs off 82 balls. Ireland scored 281 runs with the important partnership between these two batsmen.

Ireland vs Oman: Oman’s innings :-

As Oman chased down the target, Kashyap Prajapati scored 72 off 74 balls which included 6 fours and 1 six. Zeeshan Maqsood scored 59 runs and Aqib Ilyas scored 52 runs. At the same time, Josh Little and Mark Adair took 2-2 wickets for Ireland, while George Dockrell got a breakthrough in his account.

In this way, Oman scored 285 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 48.1 overs. After achieving this victory, Oman made the biggest run chase in ODI cricket history.
