Ireland needed 230 to win and scored 157 for four in 32 overs when the game halted for 90 minutes due to rain. The match earlier scheduled to take place on Tuesday but Ireland did not have a full XI due to five corona cases and two players getting injured. Captain Andy Balbirnie also could not play this match on Thursday.

Giving Ireland a good start, scored 37 runs in the first five overs
William Porterfield and stand-in captain Paul Stirling gave It’s a good start with 37 runs in the first five overs. Harry Tector played an unbeaten 54 off 75 balls, which is his second consecutive half-century.
