Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid is happy after a good performance in the warm-up match ahead of the decider’s Test match on the tour of England. It is worth mentioning that Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja scored half-centuries in this warm-up match.

Coach Rahul Dravid said in a video released on Twitter by ‘Leicestershire Foxes’, “Whatever we wanted from the Test match starting Friday, we got it from this match. I think we are very happy with what we have been able to do this week.”

When asked about the challenge of playing in England conditions, Rahul Dravid said, “When you have only one match to play, there is not much time for these things. You have to perform on the field within a short time. I hope our players will be able to do that from day one of this Test match.

The former Indian batsman said, “There is not much option to make a mistake in such a situation. It’s been a good week for us though. I think the pitch will be challenging for the first two days during the match and then it will go back to normal. The fifth Test was to be played last year itself but it was postponed due to cases of corona infection in the Indian camp. The Indian team is leading 2-1 in this series.
