Born to a soldier in Rewa, Ishwar Pandey trained at Chennai’s MRF Pace Academy. And in November 2010 finally got his first chance to play first-class cricket for Madhya Pradesh. He played three matches in that season and took 9 wickets. Playing for India A in August 2013, took 7 wickets in both the innings against hosts South Africa A and impressed everyone.
