New Delhi, Online Desk. Dinesh Karthik returned to the Indian T20 team after a good performance in IPL 2022 and since then he has played 13 innings for India. In these only three times he played impressive innings which was twice against South Africa and once against West Indies. He came to bat only twice before the 15th over. This means that if India had the option, they would not have come to bat first and as evidence Axar Patel has come out to bat thrice before them. That is, when there is an option, Dinesh Karthik comes down.

Picking Dinesh Karthik only as a finisher doesn’t feel right to me
