ODI Rankings: The manner in which Team India defeated the hosts in both the series of limited overs cricket on the England tour, won everyone’s heart. However, in the latest ODI rankings of players released by the ICC, it has got a mixed effect. While Team India’s top pacer Jasprit Bumrah has suffered a loss in the rankings, all-rounder Hardik Pandya has taken a long jump.
Jasprit Bumrah is one point behind him
Jasprit Bumrah has dropped one place to second in the latest ODI rankings for bowlers. It is worth noting that Bumrah could not play the last match due to a back problem, due to which he lost the top notch. In the ODI rankings for bowlers, New Zealand pacer Trent Boult is at the top with 704 rating points while Jasprit Bumrah is one point behind him. Yuzvendra Chahal has moved up four places to the fourth position.

All-rounders ranking
On the other hand, Hardik Pandya has managed to grab the eighth position by jumping 13 places in the all-rounders’ list. Pandya, who has scored six wickets and over a hundred against England, has climbed eight places to 42nd in the batsmen’s rankings. England’s Ben Stokes has slipped four places to drop out of the top 10 in the all-rounders’ list. Stokes has retired from ODIs and played his last ODI against South Africa on Tuesday.

Status of Babar, Virat and Rohit
Apart from this, Pakistan captain Babar Azam continues to top the ODI rankings for batsmen. While Indian batsman Virat Kohli is in fourth and Rohit Sharma is in fifth place. Rishabh Pant, who scored an unbeaten 125 in the last ODI, climbed 25 places to 52nd.
