Jofra Archer will be out after second elbow operation

Jofra Archer will not play a part in England’s tour of the Caribbean in January and March. Except to undergo a second operation for his injured right elbow.

The Return To Sussex :-

Archer has not played international cricket since March due to a stress fracture in his elbow and had surgery in May after attempting a comeback for Sussex.

Further scans revealed he had suffered a concussion of the injury, with the ECB backing in August that it would rule him out of the T20 World Cup and the Ashes.

“He had his second surgery on 11 December in London to relieve a long-standing strain on his right elbow,” the ECB said on Tuesday.

“A return to cricket will be scheduling in due course.” The statement said, But Jofra Archer would not be receiving for any of England’s remaining winter series.

Archer was not retaining by his IPL franchise, Rajasthan Royals. Before the upcoming mega-auction. And it remains to be seen whether he will be fitting enough to play any role in the 2022 edition.

Archer had earlier written in his newspaper column. That he was hoping to be fit in time to play in the three-Test series against the West Indies in March and that his latest setbacks mean. That he will be out for March 2021 and June 2022. Beach will not play international cricket.

“I just want to fix this injury forever and so I’m not looking too far ahead or on dates to get back into action,” he wrote at the time of his first elbow operation in May. “Because if I don’t get this period, I won’t play any cricket.”
