Jos Buttler welcomed their second child
England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler and his wife Louise on September 5 welcome their second child. Buttler withdrew in the middle of the five-match Test series between England and India due to his wife’s pregnancy.
This is the second child of Jose and his wife. Whose name is Margot. In April 2019, the star cricketer became a father for the first time by welcoming his first daughter, Georgia Rose. Butler is now the father of two daughters.
The official Instagram page of Rajasthan Royals shared some adorable pictures of the Butler family. In one of the pictures, Jose can be seen posing with the latest member of his family. The second picture was a family selfie.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise in its post addressed the new baby as Maggie. “Jos baby is here! Welcome to the #RoyalsFamily, Maggie,” he wrote. In no time, the comment section was flooded with congratulations from his fans.
Withdraw from the final two matches-
The England cricketer will be away from the pitch for some time due to the birth of his second child. Butler featured in the first three Test matches but decided to withdraw from the final two matches. Not just the Test series, Buttler has also pulled out of the second remaining part of IPL 2021.
Buttler was performing well for RR at the top of the order during the first phase. He even scored a century against Mumbai Indians. However, in his absence, Evin Lewis or Liam Livingstone can partner with Yashaswi Jaiswal in the remaining of the matches. RR is currently seated at the fifth position with six points from seven games on the points table. They will lock horns with Punjab Kings in the first game of the second leg on 21 September.
