Former India batsman Aakash Chopra feels that the massive windfall gains to BCCI through the sale of IPL media rights (2023-2027 cycle) could lead to a huge proportionate increase in players’ salaries. He made a big statement about the value of Jos Buttler.

Aakash Chopra on his YouTube channel said that if a team is allowed to spend 200 crores on players, then the value of a player like Jos Buttler for a season can be 30 to 350 crores. If a player gets 30 to 35 crores for two and a half to three months, then it doesn’t matter how much England cricket pays, every player would like to play IPL.
