Justin Langer resigned as Australia’s head coach on Saturday, a day after members of the Cricket Australia Board discussed his future.

“DSEG supports that our client Justin Langer has tendered his resignation as coach of the Australian men’s cricket team this morning,” Langer’s management firm Dynamic Sports and Entertainment Group said in a social media post.

“The resignation comes after a meeting with Cricket Australia last evening. The resignation is effective soon.”
