Kainat Imtiaz Ruled out of Women’s WC 2022 due to thumb surgery
Pakistan women’s cricketer Kainat Imtiaz took to Twitter on Monday after undergoing surgery on her thumb last month. The all-rounder tweeted, “I had thumb surgery last month.

Kainaat Imtiaz is still recovering from her thumb injury but has been ruled out of the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup to be played in New Zealand from March 4 to April 3.
In his tweet, he expressed his frustration at missing out on the opportunity. To appear in the scheduled tournament, which is the World Cup.
The Arrived in International Cricket in T20Is :-
The Karachi-born cricketer made his international debut in 2010 in a T20I against South Africa. A year later, in 2011, he made his ODI debut against Ireland.
So far, the 29-year-old has featured in 15 ODIs and 15 T20Is. The right-handed batsman has scored 128 ODI runs in 11 innings at an average of 12.80 and the best score of 24.
The right-arm seamer has taken nine wickets in 12 ODI innings, including a best of 3-49 and an economy of 6.15. , In T20Is, he has scored 120 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 85.10. With the ball, he has taken six wickets in nine innings, including a best of 2-18 and an economy of 5.54.
The Practice Match Against Ireland :-
Imtiaz was last seen for Pakistan during a warm-up match against Ireland which was played as a part of the ICC Women’s World Cup Global Qualifiers held in Zimbabwe.
He did not get the opportunity to bat or bowl in that match. Later, the tournament was called off due to the increasing number of COVID-19 subjects. Earlier he had played a bilateral series against West Indies.

West Indies toured Pakistan in November last year for a three-match ODI series. Pakistan lost the series 0-3. Kainaat Imtiaz also did not have such a great outing.
He scored 53 runs in three innings with the bat and took a wicket in an innings in which he got the opportunity to bowl.
