The Karnataka High Court has dismissed a petition challenging the auction of players in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The PIL had claimed that the auction of players is inhuman and violates human rights.

A division bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Alok Aradhe was hearing a PIL filed by Venkatesh Shetty and others on Wednesday.
The current IPL season is over
The current IPL season is over and the Delhi High Court has dismissed a similar petition. Then this IPL is not maintainable.
