The Sydney Sixers have received a huge boost ahead of tonight’s KFC BBL11 final against the Perth Scorchers at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, with news that the youngest player of the tournament has rejoined the club for three years.

Opening the batting for the first time this season for the Sixers, rendered in vain due to illness and injury, Kerr scored an unbeaten 98, scoring the winning run off the last Adelaide Strikers ball of the match to win the ages.

The 25-year-old has been with the Men at Magenta for two years without getting a permanent spot in the starting 11, but his form this year made him the league’s hottest off-contract asset.
