In the first match of the 2-match Test series against Bangladesh, KL Rahul took charge of the team. The team took a 1-0 lead by winning by 188 runs on Sunday, December 18, the fifth day. After the match, Rahul replied about Rohit Sharma’s injury.

Rohit was hit on the thumb while taking a catch in the slips and was taken to the hospital

Rohit was injured during fielding in the second match of the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. The ball hit Rohit’s thumb while taking a catch in the slip and he was taken to the hospital. The injury was serious, due to which he had to get on the field after tying a bandage. He scored a half-century in the match but after that he returned to India for treatment.

KL said after the match, “We will get information about Rohit’s injury tomorrow or only after a day or two. To be honest, I don’t even know what is the condition of his injury at this time.

Great win for India

Batting first in the Chittagong Test against Bangladesh, India scored 404 runs in the first innings. After this, on the basis of excellent bowling by Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammad Siraj, the hosts were bundled out for 150 runs. In the second innings, on the basis of century innings of Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara, declared the innings by scoring 258 runs for 2 wickets. Chasing a huge target of 514 runs, the Bangladesh team was reduced to 324 runs.
