Turuba: Wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson on Friday included in the Indian team in place of Lokesh Rahul. In the five-match T20 International series against the West Indies. Rahul got infected with the corona virus before the three-match ODI series. And has so far failed to regain full fitness.

Lokesh Rahul was included in the first team

Cricket Board of India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah said in a statement issued here. Lokesh Rahul included in the team first and his participation in the T20 series was dependent on fitness. This batsman found positive in the Kovid-19 test last week. He advised rest by the BCCI medical team.

Sanju Samson part of the team in the recently concluded ODI series. India won this series by 3-0. Samson scored a half-century in the second ODI.
